Royal West Kent Regiment Rolled Gold Sweetheart Brooch
In great condition with original pin. Only slight wear to plating on edges of bar otherwise a smart looking sweetheart badge. Makers Mark is WBS and "Rolled Gold" (effectively a form of plating) is stamped on reverse of bar. read more

Royal Fusiliers 1st Version Other Ranks Shoulder Title converted to Sweetheart Brooch
A clever adaption of the early two piece shoulder title with the small RF letters below now attached to the grenade which would have been worn above separately, lugs now removed and the whole attached to a functional c clasp pin fitting. Some staining to the gilding metal finish as a result of the conversion but nicely done.

WW2 4th County of London (Sharpshooters) Hallmarked Silver & Enamel Sweetheart Brooch Badge
A stunning sweetheart with hallmarks for Birmingham assay office date letter Q (1940). No damage to enamel, original pin fittings. Maker marked also W & H (Walker & Hall, Sheffield). Walker & Hall were cutlers and made regimental spoons in the 1930s and moved into military badge making in 1940. Circa 3.3cms tall.

WW1 6th City of London Battalion, The London Regiment Sterling Silver and Enamel Sweetheart Brooch Pin
KRRC style brooch with the reverse impressed "Sterling Silver" and with maker's details 'SSR'. Very good clean condition, retaining original pin fittings, some surface wear to enamel but intact. Circa 3.8cms tall. An attractive brooch.
In 1935, the Battalion became an Anti-Aircraft Battalion of the Royal Engineers and adopted the RE badge.
