Removed from uniform. Painted on cloth, some discolouration to white paint and wear to paint on tip of arrowhead and cracking overall but generally in good condition and scarce. Remains of a sticky tab to reverse. This unit saw heavy action in WW2 operating in the Thames estuary, Essex and North Kent.

Some paper stuck to reverse otherwise in very good condition, and right facing.

Formed in 1940 in Norway. The badge depicts a Viking ship and sail in white with a red cross, all on a black background. 5 Corps joined the First Army in North Africa in 1942, Sicily and Italy and was present at the surrender of the German armies in Italy.

Reinforced to reverse and signs of press studs on each corner having been removed. Woven example in very good condition. Worn circa 1959 - 1977. The design said to represent the 'Al Khalij' Arabic for "The Gulf".
