Scarce small pattern die cast silver (unmarked) Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps original Officer's Silvered Mess Dress Badge, with original slider. Circa 3.1cm tall and 3cm wide. In excellent condition with sharp detail. Worn 1946 - 1952 only with King's Crown. Very scarce.

Scarce Federation of Malaya Home Guard / National Service Badge, circa 1948 - 1957
An other ranks die-cast in brass with two original lugs to the reverse (one has some damage but still functional). These were worn by the local HG villagers armed with shotguns etc, and the badge was worn on their everyday clothes (my thanks to Stephen Risby for confirming this).

.A very fine scarce die-stamped heavy and stiff yellow brass example. Elephant standing on scroll inscribed “British Asian”; palm trees in the background. Two loops to reverse (east - west). A scarce pre 1952 cap badge. Some polishing to highpoints, with two long loops to reverse. The reverse shots of the badge look brassy on the photos but it is actually white metal. Circa 3.8cm tall and 4cm wide. Very scarce.
