Article extracted from Flight Magazine March 1944 - New 36.7 litre 12 cyclinder Rolls Royce Griffon Engine as fitted in the Spitfire

2 pages (folded), 4 sides of covering the development of the latest and greatest Spitfire engine. There is also a feature on Axis airforces "Behind the Lines" with a photo French trainees at Nancy in France (working for Junkers). I am not sitting pulling these magazines apart, these extracts were found in a book I have also listed on aircraft maintenance.  read more

Postally unused, one corner has bad crease otherwise in good condition. UK made card. Good image but unable to identify unit. Possibly a pre war annual camp. Hand writing on reverse is hard to decipher except for 5800 Accts Dept.  read more
