In very good condition, showing signs of only minor wear and with good sharp detail. Original Slider fitting, still has a good length to it, but possibly slightly shortened but not by much if this is the case. Only worn until 1916. Rare.

As worn on the pill box or peaked cap by many Volunteer Artillery Other Ranks across the Kingdom, a white metal grenade with seven flames with two original toned loops to the reverse. Circa 4.1cms tall. Lovely item. Circa 1860 - 1902. One sees the larger ten and fourteen flame versions much more often. There is also a Grenadier Guards style pattern with 17 flames but in white metal.

An original bi-metal glengarry badge to the West Surrey 3rd Volunteer Battalion (metals reversed). Circa 70mm tall and 48mm wide. In very good condition but top loop behind crown has been neatly removed leaving 2 of 3 original loops to reverse.
