Kings Own ( Yorkshire Light Infantry ) (KOYLI) ( 51st & 105th Foot) Large Smasher / Pagri Hat Bi-Metal Cap Badge
Worn on the Smasher (Slouch) Hat. Gaylor claims the Pagri. Huge badge compared to the normal issue (see the second photo for a comparison with the badge listed below). Bi-metal with sweat hole to the reverse. Lugs look different in colour but both original. A smashing badge!

The Northamptonshire Regiment Orderly Mess Waiters Silver pagri / turban Badge
Allegedly worn by mess servants / orderlies of the Northamptonshire Regiment. Uk made hollow cast construction in unmarked silver with original and fully functional pin fitting. Circa 3cms tall and 4.7cms wide. In excellent condition and the regimental pattern castle suggests this is a pre 1902 item. Happy to be corrected.

The Queens Own Cameron Highlanders (79th Foot) Other-Ranks Victorian White Metal Glengarry Cap Badge - No Scroll
White metal die struck with two long dark toned lug fittings (east-west). Very good condition. Circa 57mm by 56mm wide. The Cameron scroll was added circa 1900. This pattern authorised for wear from 1872.
See also my 60100 for a slightly different pattern in a number of respects, but the most obvious is that the wee Jimmy is looking more straight ahead than on this example.

They are also characterised by the long slider attached via a strengthening strip between the flames and the neck of the grenade for wear on the pagri (see note 19 on... read more

An odd little badge, die struck garter with sold QVC and stout pin fitting added. Looks like a bit of a marriage. Not sure if pagri or band related. Any information welcome. Does not look like a sweetheart, but could be. Circa 4.5cms tall. Unusual.
