Royal Welch Fusiliers Other Ranks Bi-Metal Cap Badge with plume holder fitting
A reasonably recent badge as worn until 2009 (with this spelling of Welch since 1920). In very good condition. Nice to see with metal prongs and plume holder for a better looking fit on the blue beret. Worn with the white hackle.

Staybrite version in gold and silver colour, original slider, two-part riveted construction, slider maker marked JR Gaunt London. Slight signs of service wear but otherwise in very good condition. Worn 1952 - 1959, when replaced by the Fusilier Brigade badge. A scarce badge.

The South Wales Borderers (SWB) (24th Foot) Smaller Pattern Other Ranks Bi-metal Cap Badge
The smaller bi-metal die struck pattern of this badge with original slider. In good condition. This version is circa 38mm in diameter. See my item 60063 for a photo of it alongside its more usually encountered big brother. Note also the latter has a different style of lettering to the smaller pattern. This distinction is made clear in K&K. Scarce.

Beret or "3/4" size cap badge worn on the Beret c1950-1958 by the 1st Battalion and by the Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry (TA) c1950-1967.
