WW2 Poland - Polish 2 Corps Breast badge - numbered to reverse
Bronze die cast badge with original screw post fitting and retaining nut, with original green felt backing (there are small traces suggesting this may have once been silvered). The number 103917 has been stamped to the reverse (the recipient's army number?). Felt is dirty / faded and the bronze has a touch of verdigris to the front. Circa 3.7cm tall and 2cm wide. An unusal die cast post 1927 white metal example, looks to have been silver plated. Two original long loops to the reverse. Circa 3cm tall. Not much detail on the battle honours through wear but also because of the lack of definition from being cast. Scarce.

WW2 Royal Marine Commando Cap Badge with Escape Compass in Globe
A nice find with the original compass to the reverse of this Royal Marines die struck brass cap badge with two original lugs to the reverse. Escape compass fits perfectly into the globe, but needs to be retained in place with tape or the like. Red spot inside compass indicates north and this is still fully functional and accurate, with no damage to glass. Scarce. read more
