A 1957 Lance Corporals' pattern two part construction badge with raised rim, the oval in gilding metal and the eagle blackened, with two original loops (east - west) to the reverse and two original screw posts to the reverse of the eagle but now with replacement retaining nuts (should have been hexagonal). A very fine solid die-struck (semi-cast) silver plated crest of Prince Albert on two original lugs (sanctioned for wear in 1876, but this pattern was actually worn in the 1950s). Circa 6cm tall. Minor toning to silver finish.

17/21st Lancers Cast White Metal NCO's Arm Motto / Chadd

A white metal possibly nickel or silver plated cast arm badge with two original loops to the reverse. It is a scarce pattern without "eyebrows" and a lot more teeth than other examples (nine in total). it also has a particular rounded semi circular scroll bearing the motto "Or Glory". Worsted cloth formation sign. Diamond black border with chevrons in black, gold and two in dull red, some paper stuck to reverse as removed from an album. Small black diamond was worn at the top. Worn by all ranks on battledress. In very good condition.

14th / 20th Hussars / Kings Royal Hussars Gurkha Crossed Kukris Bullion Mess Dress Arm Badge

A small circular woven bullion badge in the form of crossed kukris in gold bullion thread. Worn by all ranks to commemorate the regiment's tanks serving with the 43rd Lorried Gurkhas fighting through Italy campaign in 1944-45. The badge was adopted in 1947. In very good condition. It was worn post amalgamation in 1992.

19th Century Victorian Cavalry Officers Sabretache Sling Billets with original black leather attachments

A rare set of three fire gilt buckles depicting Lions heads. Minor wear, leather a bit dry but still functional. All three retaining buttons are present, but only one on show in photos. I will give the leather a mild treatment with renaissance wax before posting to make it more supple. Gilt remains bright and fresh. Scarce.

Royal Scots Dragoon Guards Bi-Metal Cap Badge (converted to lugs)

Die cast two part badge. Slider neatly removed and not so neatly replaced with two lugs, possibly for wear as a NCOs arm badge.. A heavy badge with a sense of real quality to it with slight polishing to the highpoints on eagle's breast.

Formed in 1971 by amalgamation of the 3rd Carabiniers and Royal Scots Greys.
