WW1 - '10H' - 10th Royal Hussars (PoW's) Woven White on Khaki Cloth Slip On Shoulder Title

An original embroidered First World War period 10th Hussars slip-on shoulder title.

These embroidered shoulder titles were produced from April 1916 as an economy measure. The badge is made from khaki coloured wool melton embroidered with white cotton thread.

The rear of the badge features a woven strip to allow the badge to be worn on the epaulette.

Cold War - Westminster Dragoons (TA) Woven Felt Cloth Shoulder Title

Embroidered red on purple, the red has faed a bit otherwise in good overall condition. According to Mills this was worn only between 1947 and 1951. Scarce.

'Essex / 20' 'PVC Blown' Shoulder Title - Post WW2 2nd Phase Home Guard

In good unissued condition. T shaped with the usual rubberized mesh backing. Worn below a generic home guard shoulder title.

Similar to No 4136 in BoBD (Jon Mills), who describes these as being made from PVC (poly-vinyl chloride) using a process of 'blowing-on' the white letters to a special background.
