WW1 Three Gilt Brass Sew-On Wound Stripes Sewn to Panel of Khaki Uniform Cloth
Gilt finish still fresh. Each stripe has a double hole at each end to enable it to be sewn down. Circa 2 inches in length and authorised for wear by Army Order 249 of August 1916 and this was only issued in this size up to 1922 (discontinued for wear on uniform by Army Order 434 of 1922).
