A blackened brass '6GR' shoulder title for the 6th Gurkha Rifles. In good condition complete with original lugs (slight bending). Circa 30mm wide and 12mm tall.
Worn by all ranks from 1948 - 1994.

Circa 25mm in diameter, marked silver to obverse and with a plated brass ring for suspension. Tug of War prize medallion for 1939. Medallion with some edge bruises and but detail still sharp and scarce.

WW2 8th Gurkha Rifles Felt Slouch Hat Badge on Correct Red Cloth Patch Backing

Blackened brass cap badge on its original red square cloth backing as worn by all ranks on the Gurkha felt hat, complete with cotter pin. Some moth damage to top right edge, and behind the 8 on the badge, and some glue to reverse where removed from a display board. A splendid worn example, been there, done that! As worn from 1930s onwards.

In unissued condition, with part stock number on paper label to reverse ('9769'), dark green rifle cord boss, circa 28mm in diameter with silver plated cap badge. Screw fitting with original retaining nut and washer. Superb.

7th Gurkha Rifles Servants / Followers Silver Plated Badge - Pin Fitting, pre 1959.

Official issues for wear by officers and other ranks had the 7 separate from the crossed kukris. This particular example was believed to be a pattern worn by followers or servants of the regiment. Whilst a number of different examples appear in the museum publication, this particular pattern does not appear to be illustrated. Black cord boss with silver plated cast metal device, as worn from 1916 - 1953. Boss circa 26mm in diameter, badge circa16mm across. Retaining wires twisted downwards. In good condition.

5th Gurkha Rifles Officer's Black Ball Button, 1927 - 1947

Circa 18mm in diameter, fixed shank, blank reverse. Black composition button. This pattern with Royal Crest above came into service in 1927 and was worn until 1947. In very good condition.
