A different pattern to the large pattern forage cap star, note the shape of the rays (see final photo for a comparison with the large pattern cap star listed elsewhere on this site for sale). Circa 6.9cms tall and 4.7cms across. In very good condition and scarce.

Coldstream Guards Officer's Large Hallmarked Silver with Enamel Cap Star

A large three part construction cap star, die cast and maker marked JRG (JR Gaunt) with Birmingham assay silver hallmarks for 1970 (date letter V) with enamel to strap and centre cross in very good condition. Two original long silvered loops to reverse. Silver finish dark toned, slight service wear. An example with a bit of age to it (now over 50 years!). Circa 5.4cms tall.

A bronze die cast cap badge with two original lugs to the reverse. Slight trace of verdigris to reverse and minor wear to highpoints otherwise in very good condition. In 1969 the regiment had a change of badge on amalgamation to become The Blues and Royals.
