Introduced in the early 1930s and abolished in 1950, this steering wheel brass badge was awarded to Mechanised Batteries of the Royal Artillery and from 1936 to Royal Engineer and Royal Signals also, at the rate of one prize per unit and were also worn in WW2 to signify driving instructors. The 16th County of London Battalion ( Queen's Westminster and Civil Service Rifles ) Officer's Black Medium Pattern Button
Circa 17mm in diameter, fixed shank, no maker's mark. In reasonable condition, some loss of definition to far left but hard to see unless taken under flash conditions as per the photos. Worn circa 1922 - 1960. The Queen Victoria's Rifles amalgamated with them in 1960 when they became the The Queen's Royal Rifles.

A die cast bronze right facing collar badge with two original loops to the reverse. WW2 British Forces Kings Badge for Loyal Service
Introduced in 1941, circa 26mm in diameter struck in white metal. The King's Badge was awarded to British Forces personnel who had been invalided out of the services during WW2 and were entitled to a war disablement pension. They were both unnamed and unnumbered. In good bright and clean condition.
