An original Second War unmarked silver 'MN' lapel badge, made by Royal Mint and officially issued from January 1940 to all Merchant Navy officers and men as a form of identity and to act as a National Service badge. A good die-stamped brass large flaming grenade the ball bearing laurel wreath surmounted by a scroll inscribed “ Gibraltar ”; within the wreath a strap inscribed “ Per mare per terram ”; globe in relief to centre. Red embroidered on navy felt. the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Anti-Aircraft Corps was part of the RNVR until 1916 when it came under the wing of the Royal Naval Air Service RNAS as the air threat to the United Kingdom increased. WW1 HMS Hindustan Ships Crest Gun Tampion - Very Scarce

Wood framed Solid Brass Ship's Tampion believed to be from the the WW1 HMS Hindustan, an 18-gun twin propeller pre-dreadnought battleship of the King Edward VII class. She was launched in 1903, sold in 1921 and scrapped in 1923.
