Bronze die struck collar badge with two original loops to reverse. Circa 3.1cm tall. Most probably WW1 VTC. Same pattern worn by earlier incarnations of the Island's volunteer rifle corps but in different finishes.
Churchill No 1038 refers (but in bronze - most likely WW1 VTC).

A scarce die cast bronze badge with two original D shaped loops to the reverse. Same size whether for the cap or for wear as a collar badge. Three towered castle above a lion. Beneath a scroll " CITY OF NORWICH VOLUNTEERS". Circa 5.8cms wide and 3.7cms tall. Some wear to bronze finish on high points.
