Impossible to date to either WW1 or WW2 as the raised foot of the lion was used on badges of the Tyneside Scottish in both of these wars. So potentially of Northumberland Fusiliers, Durham Light Infantry, Black Watch or possibly Royal Artillery interest too! It has some moth damage to bottom section. 13cm long. Reverse engraved on reverse as awarded to
"4269046 Fus. H. Walker, Score 75". Reverse also maker's mark R&S and Birmingham date letter H ( 1932 ). Enamel in excellent condition with no damage also spoon in good condition, slight tarnishing to silver but will polish up nicely. In near mint condition.

Scotland Scottish Kings Body Guard RCA (Royal Company of Archers) Gilt Brass Bonnet Badge
Post 1902 brass badge with two original loops to the reverse. Owner informs me the badge was the property of a one A.K. McIntosh Corps number 9503, but I cannot confirm this as the badge is just the badge. Gilt finish back to brass otherwise in good condition. Circa 6.5cms tall.

Unusual Copper Sheet Template for Embroidering the regimental badge of the 27th Inniskilling Fusiliers
The template includes a separate paper sheet with instructions for the colours of threads to be used in its completion. Looking at the size of it, I suspect it was a tailor's model for a blazer badge. Unusual and could be used today. Template is circa 15cm by 12.5cm. read more
