A WW1 ID disc to 10347 Guardsman Walter Moses of the 2nd Battalion Scots Guards who lost a foot in 1916 and was entitled to a Silver War Badge. Copy of MIC and SWB roll (from the CD) to be provided. See the following forum discussion which mentions him and his SWB. Also entitled to a 1915 Trio as well as a SWB. In very good condition.

White Buff leather belt with all its brass fixings including a matching brass Waist Belt Clasp. the grenade to centre of the WBC has been polished and lost some detail as one would expect with a smart guardsman. Some feint ink annotations to the inside. In good overall condition.

Flare Pistol / Gun - Relic Condition - RAF issue
An absolute monster in the hand and of considerable weight. The flare pistol was a feature of every day life in the trenches but this one looks larger than those found as issued to the British Army with a 1.5 inch muzzle. A superb item, engraved silver Identity bracelet on its original chain, fully functional. Reverse has the hallmarks for London assay office with the date letter 'a' (1916) and maker's details "M. Bros". Also sterling lion marks to clasp. The obverse is neatly engraved "Signaller Gerald H. Lambert, 4562, 13th Batt Rifle Brigade, RC (Roman Catholic)."
