Cold War - 97th Army Group Royal Artillery (AGRA) Printed Cloth Formation Sign Flash Patch Badge
In unissued condition. Rare, a very shortlived sign, authorised in May 1949 and disappearing with the demise of the AGRAs in December 1950. Depicts local connections with the statue of Eros in Piccadilly in red on a black square. Worn in facing pairs, this one facing to the left. Rare.

Removed from uniform and in worn condition with cellotape with unit identification to reverse. Sky looks dark blue to me not black! Worn from 1944 until 1948 only. Crossed beams of searchlights over a torch of learning.
