Circa 4.5cm tall and 5cm wide. Red silk embroidered on a dark blue cotton background, the design, a wheel with an arrow through it. Removed from uniform, folded but bright and in very good condition.

A woven example in the form of an inverted isosceles triangle with the apex squared off, on which a black aircraft (Dornier bomber) flying upwards is pierced by a red sword, the tip of which protrudes from the nose, all on a grey ground with a black border.
