Right facing, edges neatly folded and in very good condition.
HQ Luton, territory covered East Anglia and Central Midlands. This pattern with a bulldog was worn until 1947 only and then replaced by a Viking's head above crossed swords.

WW2 78th Division / 2nd Battalion The Lancashire Fusiliers KD Slip-on Formation Sign Combination
A scarce WW II combination consisting of a printed yellow on black printed battle-axe of the 78th Infantry Division above a white on red embroidered fused grenade of the Lancashire Fusiliers. Both still affixed to a section of pale tropical k.d. material with hanging loops to each end to fit to the shoulder strap. This Division fought with distinction in North-Africa,Sicily and Italy.
55th ( West Lancashire ) Division 1st Pattern Embroidered Khaki Cloth Formation Sign
Removed from uniform. Some raggy edges to khaki disk otherwise in good condition. Five leaves on each side (for 55th) with red rose of Lancashire. This was a First-Line Territorial Division, composed of Territorial s from the Liverpool and West Lancashire area, and as part of the Home Forces the division was used in a training role.

WW2 Free Royal Netherlands Dutch Brigade Embroidered Cloth Formation Sign
In good condition and still attached to its battledress backing.
Part of the 21st Army group. Took part in the liberation of Holland. Post war the inscription NEDERLAND was replaced by JE MAINTIENDRAI, the motto of the House of Orange.

Woven felt cloth formation sign worn on the battledress shoulder, in the shape of a yellow seahorse on blue/red triangle. Very end of tip of triangle flat otherwise in good condition. Worn from 1941 to 1943 by the RM 104th Training Brigade which was redesignated as the Royal Marine Training Group in 1943.
