A scarce early left facing collar badge with two original dark toned brass loops to the reverse. Some heavy polishing to the detail on the body the lamb itself otherwise in good overall condition and scarce.

2nd Volunteer Battalion (VB) The Queen's Royal Regiment (West Surrey) Officer's Blackened Collar Badge

A die cast bronze right facing collar badge which has been blackened. The 1st VB officers wore this for a short time in a bronze finish, presumably from 1902 with the introduction of Service Dress and the 2VB officer's are assumed by Churchill to have worn this also but blackened. Seaforth Highlanders Matched and Facing Pair of Two Part Gilding Metal Other Ranks Collar Badges

A matching set with one single central loop to the reverse of each part, so a later issue. In very good condition. Worn from 1898 - 1961. F cyphers were worn facing left, but the elephants were worn facing.
