Officers die cast silver plated badge ('P' for silver plated to reverse of crown) with two original D shaped loops to the reverse, suggesting this is a collar badge rather than a beret badge, but could be used in a beret too. In very good condition with sharp detail. Circa 3cm tall.

A scarce and very fine two part construction single large size officers gilt metal imitation embroidery grenade with a silver rose with two original lugs to the reverse. As worn horizontally in pairs on the scarlet Frock Coat in the late 1890s only. Also claimed by some as worn in the Officer's Field Service Cap. Circa 6.2cm tall and in good condition.
