Canadian Militia - 44th Lincoln and Welland Regiment Gilt Metal Cap Badge
An early gilt metal cap badge with two lugs to the reverse. Circa 4.3cm tall. Use of silver solder possibly suggesting this has been relogged at some time otherwise in very good condition.

A rare pre WW1 Toronto Public School Cadet Corps gilt brass glengarry cap badge, circa 5.5cm tall. This is the second type with the tree and beaver to the centre (the first type carried the portrait head of Queen Victoria to the centre). Two original loops to the reverse. Die struck pickled brass cap badge with two original loops to the reverse. Maker marked Geo H Lees & Co / Ellis Bros. Some service wear otherwise in good condition. Acta non Verba scroll variant (motto translates as 'Deeds not Words'). Seems to be harder to find than the version with "Toronto Americans" on the scroll.

Pickled copper die struck cap badge with original pin and c clasp fitting to the reverse and maker marked "O.B. Allan". There is no appearance of having been loops or blades and Charlton on p128 confirms the badge was issued with a pin fitting. Same size as displayed in Cox. Circa 4cms tall.
