A yellow gilt brass metal die struck cap badge with two flat connector style loops to the reverse. Circa 5cms tall. Not as well struck as it could have been and silver solder to lugs (possibly contemporary replacements as this is usually found with flat hexagonal lugs). RD no 875 to front on either side of the NZ. New Zealand Veterinary Corps Officers OSD Bronze Collar Badge - Gaunt tablet
This is the fern leaf pattern as opposed to the laurel leaf pattern, in bronze. Circa 3.2cm tall, UK made with JR Gaunt London tablet to reverse of crown. Two original lugs to the reverse. In very good condition and scarce. The unit was formed in 1906 and disbanded in 1947. King’s crown.

New Zealand WW1 - Matched Facing Pair of Blackened Collar badges to the New Zealand Rifle Brigade
A matched facing pair of die struck collar badges with two original loops to the reverse of each. The cap badge and collar badges were the same size. The collars were worn facing inwards, the cap badge faced to the left. Circa 4cm tall. A lovely set with virtually no wear to the black finish.
