In good overall condition with two of two dark toned loops to the reverse. The bugle and garter pattern was replaced in 1895 with the plate with four stars. A gilding metal example , die struck with two original loops to the reverse. This pattern also worn as facing collar badges, but smaller. Circa 40mm wide and 40mm tall. Antlers all present and correct. Sharp detail. Scarce.

New Zealand WW1 - Matched Facing Pair of Blackened Collar badges to the New Zealand Rifle Brigade

A matched facing pair of die struck collar badges with two original loops to the reverse of each. The cap badge and collar badges were the same size. The collars were worn facing inwards, the cap badge faced to the left. Circa 4cm tall. A lovely set with virtually no wear to the black finish.
