The double-headed eagle, in die struck bronze with two original loops to the reverse, from the Arms of the Royal Burgh of Lanark within a wreath of thistle above the tri-part title scroll. In very good condition. Worn 1902 - 1908 only.

The property of the same man who owned the later pattern cap badge listed as my item 62951 and collar badges listed as 62980. This pattern worn until 1908 by this regiment of Scottish Yeomanry. Royal Wiltshire Yeomanry Officers Silver Plated and Gilt Cap Badge

Die cast silver plated plumes with applied gilt coronet. Circa 3.9cm tall. Two long silver plated loops to the reverse. Some wear and twisting to lugs otherwise in good bright condition.

A very light and die struck issue with three original lugs to the reverse. Worn circa 1898 until 1906 only. It was then replaced by a different pattern in brass. Also worn as the Sergeants and Senior Sergeants Arm badge.

Early Issue 18th ( Queen Mary's Own ) Hussars Other Ranks White Metal Cap Badge

Die struck other rank 's cap badge comprising a circlet in white metal inscribed ' Queen Mary's Own ' surmounted by an Imperial Crown. In the centre the Roman numerals XVIII with two original loops (e-w). Circa 4cm tall (the collar badges were circa 3.5cm tall). In very good condition.

Lancashire Hussars (Yeomanry) Bronze Cap Badge

An early bronze die struck original issue of this much faked badge. Note the 7 seeds around the central seed of the Lancashire Hussars rose, most copies have 6. Note also the correct position of the lugs. Some slight damage to edge of scroll below the SS in Hussars, but a lovely bronze patina and scarce.
