A fine scarce die cast brass example. Crowned Garter strap with White Horse of Hanover with Roman numeral V above and D.G. below. Superimposed on sixteen point star with seven battles honours. Two posts to the reverse. Circa 9cm tall. In very good condition.

SIH South Irish Horse (Yeomanry) Brass Shoulder Title

Not illustrated in Westlake, but mentioned on p17. Most probably worn 1908 until disbandment in 1922. In very good condition with two original loops to the reverse. Rare.

Raised in March 1900 as South Irish Horse. Renamed in 1902 as the South of Ireland Yeomanry. Reverted back to the South Irish Horse in 1908. Disbanded in 1922.
