A fine silver plate and gilt example. King's Crown over an oval Garter with White Horse of Hanover mounted to centre. Scroll above oval “Nec Aspera Terrent”, below another scroll “King’s Own Hussars”. Three original loops to reverse. Circa 6.4cm wide and 6.9cm tall. In very good condition. Scarce.

A die cast two part construction silver plated and gilt metal cap badge with the correct voids between the legs. With two original loops to the reverse and maker marked "JR Gaunt, London, late Jennens " (which dates its manufacture between 1924 - 1926).
