Bronzed cap badge with two flat connector style loops no maker's mark but typical of the fixings used by Ellis of Toronto. Worn by the 216th (Toronto Bantams) Battalion C.E.F. A bantam rooster and the number, "216" to the centre of a crowned circlet bearing, " Bantams Overseas " above the title scroll, " Canada". IN very good condition.

Circa 20mm in diameter, fixed shank, open-backed convex button, with a Georgian crown to centre and Andover Loyal Volunteers surrounding, milled edge. Maker marked Mills & Co, London. Gilt mainly back to vase copper alloy to front but in very good condition for age. This pattern was worn in the second incarnation of the Volunteer movement from 1803 - 1808.
