19th Royal Hussars (Queen Alexandra's Own) Officer's OSD Bronze Cap Badge - Blades
A die cast bronze example with two original blades to the reverse. The top blade is bent to shape and has a slight nibble in the end of the point, and the bottom blade is bent side ways. It is best not to mess with these as they can get brittle with age. It is a rare badge and worn 1909 - 1922 only.

Artist impression Postcard, depicting the Royal Navy Mediterranean Fleet in a gale sailing from Corfu to Malta December 1911.
Postally used, cancelled in Valletta, Malta, but unfortunately stamp removed. Message on reverse is dated April 1912 from a sailor, Fred Smith to his sister. He was seving in HMS Triumph which is one of the shipes featured on the front of the card. Unusual card and Fred undoubtedly saw First War service.
