WW2 Rationing Notice taken from an original newspaper ( The Observer June 1st 1941 )
Details the number of rationing coupons required for various items of clothing, which varied between adults and children, including spats!. It also details the goods for which coupons were not required, which included Clogs! fascinating piece of wartime social history for the home front historian. Has been fold and yellowed with age, but otherwise good condition.

Scarce 5 year service silver bar for wear with the Service Medal for the Order of St John
Wide enough to slide over the standard 1.5 inch wide black and white metal ribbon. Possibly silver plate but unmarked, in good condition with sharp detail. The medal itself was issued for 12 years service. The clasp is for a further five.

2 pages (folded), 4 sides of covering the development of the latest and greatest Spitfire engine. There is also a feature on Axis airforces "Behind the Lines" with a photo French trainees at Nancy in France (working for Junkers).
