WW2 Poland - Polish 2 Corps Breast badge - numbered to reverse
Bronze die cast badge with original screw post fitting and retaining nut, with original green felt backing (there are small traces suggesting this may have once been silvered). Blackened cast brass with two integral lugs to the reverse. Circa 4.5cm wide and 1.6cm tall. In very good condition and rare.
The Uganda Rifles were a pre 1902 unit who were the predecessors of the 4th and 5th ( Uganda ) Battalions of the King's African Rifles.

Calcutta Light Horse ( CLH ) Forage Cap / Collar badge
The Calcutta Light Horse was raised in 1872 and formed part of the Cavalry Reserve in the British Indian Army. The regiment was disbanded following India's independence in 1947. This is a cast, of two part construction with two original lugs to the reverse. Small at circa 3.2cm tall, for wear in forage cap or perhaps on collar too. Of good quality, possibly officer's issue.
