A die struck collar badge coronet. Great if you have a matching grenade cap badge or collar badge to go with it. It looks to be circa 1950s manufacture and predates the anodised version. Two original lugs to reverse. Circa 3.2cm wide and 1.8cm tall. Mint condition.

The King's Own Royal Border Regiment was an infantry regiment of the British Army in existence from 1959 until 2006, and was part of the King's Division. It was formed at Barnard Castle on 1st October 1959 through the amalgamation of the King's Own Royal Regiment (Lancaster) and the Border Regiment.

Cast white metal with original long pin for wear on the front of the turban. Circa 4.5cm tall. In good condition.
The circular design of the quoit or chakran is a traditional Sikh motif, and this pattern was worn post 1922 by the 3rd Battalion ( Rattrays ) - originally the Bengal Military Police Battalion, formed in 1856. read more
Indian Army: 1st Punjab Regiment Officers Side Cap Badge
An extremely fine forage side cap badge to the 1st Punjab Regiment, post 1922, with two original lugs to the reverse. A small die cast badge of circa 3cm wide and 3cm tall. Small crack line to right of elephant's ear, possible a die flaw, but this does not go through the badge. Indian made in unmarked silver and of special super quality. A stunner!

A small other ranks brass cast glengarry badge with two original lugs (e-w) to the reverse. Circa 4.5cm wide and 4cm tall. Certainly not one of the later and larger die struck copies. Of Kings Yorkshire Light Infantry interest.

68th ( Durham ) Light Infantry Other Ranks Crimean War Period Albert Shako Plate, 1844 - 1855
In relic condition, but good colour to brass. Circa 7.2cm in diameter and 10cm tall, impressed brass plate ribbed horizontally and edged with a raised wreath of oak on the left and laurel on the right, surmounted by a large Victorian crown. The regimental number "68" in raised numerals below a stringed bugle. the "6" has been slightly damaged.

Great detail with a stickpin fitting attachment to back. Unmarked silver plate, some signs of tarnish which will clean, suspended from top bar and original ribbon, with pin for piercing masons apron. Detail very good. Lovely condition for age.
