Circa 27mm in diameter, this medallion or fob is truly of stunning quality and a very emotive item, even to this day. An unusual WW1 tribute medal engraved to J. T. Jones from the Ancient Order of Foresters (AOF) Newbridge-on-Wye for services in the Great War. In hallmarked Sterling Silver (Birmingham 1919) and suspended from an original piece of 1914 / 1914-15 star ribbon.
3cm across, nice detail, but some signs of wear which do not detract.
