52 years ago this poster graced the lobby of an Italian cinema. In 1958 Carlton Films released "The Sea of Sand", a black and white North African war movie starring a young Richard Attenborough, John Gregson and Michael Craig. Heavy die struck NCO's arm badge as worn on the right shoulder, with three original lugs to reverse and a piece of Indian cloth which has been used as a backing cloth, as acquired. This is a lovely item and in good unpolished condition. Circa 5cm tall and 5.1cm wide. Very scarce.
