Scarce 1914 1st Pattern Tyneside Scottish Other Rank's Glengarry Cap Badge
The design for this badge was not fixed until late November 1914 by the Tyneside Scottish Committee, and was replaced by the more imposing 2nd pattern badge in January 1915. Many of the original cap badges were converted to pin fittings. They were issued to the original volunteers to the 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd Battalion Tyneside Scottish quartered in Alnwick, Northumberland.

Scarce WW1 era Postcard of Airship / Zeppelin
Most images of airships, especially Zeppelins tend to be artist impressions. This is a real photograph of one seen cruising above the rooftops. The card is printed in English, so this is possibly a Zeppelin. Postally unused. Stain to reverse. Strange lines run across the image, possibly from when it was developed. Still a scarce image. read more

A simply magnificent Postally unused postcard in very good condition showing the Regimental Sergeant Major ( RSM )wearing the Fox in full cry cap badge on peaked cap, four chevrons and King's crown above, plus a row of medal ribbons, suggesting prior regular army service. Victorian Border Regiment Pagri Sun Helmet Badge
A large die struck white metal pagri badge to the Border Regiment. With a long slider to the reverse and both tabs to hold red felt in place are present. It only has battle honours up to Inkerman in the Crimean War. This is a stunning badge, well over twice the size of a normal cap badge; 5.5cm tall excluding slider, and 6cm wide. read more
