Sergeant Majors Cuff Rank Wrist Band

Anodised QE2 Crown on Black patent leather wrist fitting, with backing plate and cotter pin, but missing the wrist strap. Leather cracked from wear and some staining to reverse but otherwise a pleasing example and black backing suggesting as worn by Sergeant Majors' of Rifle / Gurkha regiments.

In near mint condition, single sweat /braising / expansion hole to reverse of mounted central device, two original loops and maker's tablet JR Gaunt to reverse. A scarce badge (collars were similar but worn without the scroll). Circa 1911 - 1921.

Circa 24mm in diameter, fixed shank, maker marked Firmin & Sons Ld, London. Slight wear to silver plate on the highpoints otherwise in very good condition. King's Crown so circa 1901 - 1908 only. Scarce.

A small die struck bronze cap badge with two original loops and a JR Gaunt London tablet to the reverse. Circa 4.2cms wide and 3.3cms tall. Worn circa 1911 - 1917 only. Collar badges were smaller. In very good condition.

Royal Berkshire Regiment - Without 'R Berks' below the dragon indicating a 1902-1920 issue mounted on a red/ maroon cord boss with two retaining wires still present. I think this has been mounted on the wrong coloured cord boss. According to K&K it should have been fitted to a khaki cord boss and worn with a red felt backing.
