Burtons the Tailor made tunic complete with officer gilt brass regimental pattern buttons, pips for rank of a captain and brass metal shoulder titles. Lining In good condition, some wear to the internal lining material in one arm hole, but no obvious holes or damage to the outside. 1949 Pattern Battle Dress Trousers Size 2 (circa 30 inch waist)
1949 pattern, Size 2, made by James Smith of Derby, with NATO stock number. Inside leg 29", waist circa 30"-31", a slim fit, and probably not suited to a big lad! In good condition with the exception of one small tear in the fabric below one knee only. Not obvious and could be invisibly repaired.

Infantry of the Line Mess Dress Trousers attributed to the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers
Marked inside to an officer in the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers 1939 ( A. H Duncan Esq, RNF ). This chap was tall, I guess over 6 feet 3 inches. Very slight service wear but no holes or repairs. Still has leather fasteners for fitting under the shoe heals, but one buckle with centre tongue / prong missing (easily repaired) . In lovely condition with no moth or damage or pen marks. With two original officer's silver and gilt buttons with mounted devices and the pre 1904 pattern girdle and strap.
