Worcestershire Regiment Valise Badge, 2nd pattern, circa 1881 - 1890

A heavy cast gilt brass valise badge for The Worcestershire Regiment with the usual 'box' fastening. Some minor wear to gilt finish on bottom rays otherwise in great condition and rare.

A Pre 1901 die struck example with two original loops (some wear to these). Appears to have been plated from the look of the lugs. In good overall condition.

WW1 Tyneside Scottish - 4th Pattern White Metal Glengarry Badge

Original die struck white metal cap badge in good condition with two original D shaped loops to reverse.
Also found with a pin fitting. As worn in WW1 by 20th , 21st , 22nd , 23rd and 29th (Service) Battalions, The Northumberland Fusiliers (Tyneside Scottish). This pattern was introduced in 1916 and not worn in WW2.

14th (Kings) Hussars Other Ranks Brass Cap Badge (2nd Type)

Introduced in 1915, this large pattern badge was unpopular and known rather disparagingly in the Regiment as the 'Cartwheel' badge. Found in various sizes, both voided and unvoided. This one is unvoided and in good condition with its original slider. Circa 4.3cms tall.

The Regiment were amalgamated in 1922 with the 20th Hussars.

In worn condition and dark tarnishing to the bullion but still has its original paper backing. Apparently worn from circa 1901 - 1914. Circa 42mm tall. As worn on the glengarry by an officer of The Lothians & Berwickshire Imperial Yeomanry / Lothians & Border Horse. Worn circa 1901-1914.

WW1 WAAC Women's Army Auxiliary Corps Officers OSD Cap Badge - Blades

An officer's service dress bronzed cap badge with two original blades to the reverse. In very good condition.

The Corps was formed March 1917 and some 7000 members served in France.

An early second pattern castle ( standard pattern ) with original slider to reverse and three sweat / braising holes to reverse of the scroll. Die struck badge with good sharp detail. Stiff, solid badge in very good condition. Circa 4.3cm tall.
