WW1 Tyneside Scottish - 4th Pattern White Metal Glengarry Badge

Original die struck white metal cap badge in good condition with two original D shaped loops to reverse.
Also found with a pin fitting. As worn in WW1 by 20th , 21st , 22nd , 23rd and 29th (Service) Battalions, The Northumberland Fusiliers (Tyneside Scottish). This pattern was introduced in 1916 and not worn in WW2.

A large and impressive badge in die cast bronze and of two part construction with two original blades to the reverse (some signs of service wear to these).
