A very attractive facing pair of heavy quality hallmarked silver collar badges, not quite an exact match, but a good match and both having hallmarks for WW1. Two original silver lugs to the reverse of each and both maker marked J&Co (Jennens). Each is circa 3.2cm wide and 2.2cm tall. Birmingham assaye date letters Q and U for 1915 and 1919 respectively. In excellent condition.

King's crown, two original small loops to the reverse, neatly cast in white metal and silver plated (unmarked). Circa 3.9cm tall.

A dental branch of the Indian Medical Corps was formed in 1940. In March 1943, this took on its own identity as the Indian Army Dental Corps. This was badge would therefore have only been worn between 1943 and 1947. Scarce.
