WW2 Sudan Auxiliary Defence Force (SADF) Officers Cap Badge
A die cast unmarked silver cap badge with original pin fitting but sadly missing its C clasp fixing, otherwise in very good condition.
A volunteer reserve force raised on the eve of WW2 to assist local defence. Its roll included an anti-aircraft unit in Khartoum.

Large size silver cast SDF officer's cap badge with hairpin slider to the reverse and Cairo hallmarks (date letter indistinct). An armed native tribesman upon a camel above a tablet bearing the letters "S.D.F." Circa 4.6cm high. Very good condition and a quality badge.

Zululand Mounted Rifles Collar Badge, circa 1903 - 1913
Very scarce Zululand Mounted Rifles (ZMR) collar badge, right facing, worn only c. 1904 -1913. Gilt suggests officer's issue, die struck, with two original lugs to the reverse. Circa 3.1cm tall and 3.4cm wide. Rhino above motto scroll is "Wa Tshe Tsha" and the scroll below this carries the words Zululand Mounted Rifles. Some slight wear to gilt on highpoints but a very scarce badge.
