Lymington Troop Hampshire Yeomanry Officers Gilt Button, c1830 - 1853
Circa 23mm in diameter, fixed shank and maker marked Charles Jennens (PoW feathers) London. Gilt bright and button is in very good condition. Scarce.
The unit was raised in 1830 and served without pay from 1838-43 before being disbanded in 1853. This is one of two designs known to the unit.

Chromed 8th (Territorial) Hampshire Regiment Cap Badge, Kings Crown
A chromed white metal cap badge of the 8th (territorial) battalion of The Hampshire Regiment (Isle of Wight Rifles) with original slider fastening. The chromed version was also worn by the island's cadet corps, confirmed by Rob who was a member of the cadet corps and also in T. Woods' publication. In very good condition. Scarce.
