Single embroidered white on khaki SMLE rifle, 1931 dress regulations stated it was to be worn on the lower left sleeve and at an angle of 45 degrees, upwards and inwards. In unissued good condition.

Slight moth graze to yellow ring and minor edge nibbles to black backing circlet otherwise in good condition and has some age to it. According to the authors below, it was worn from circa 1881 (when the Army Hospital Corps) until about 1930, when its use was dropped.
