Regimental Quartermaster Sergeant (RQMS) Brass Rank Star Arm Badge, pre -1915
A brass appointment sleeve badge worn above four inverted chevrons by a R.Q.M.S. in the form of a rose to the centre of an eight-pointed star with two original lugs to the reverse (slightly flattened for comfort). Introduced in 1881. Obsolete from 1915 onwards as replaced by a crown. Scarce. Circa 3.6cm across.

WW1 Wounded Stripe - Prov No 4 (7342 - 17)Patented
Gilt dulled with two original lugs, backing plate and cotter pin. This is exactly 2 inches in length and was authorised for wear by Army Order 249 of August 1916 and this was only issued in this size up to 1922 (discontinued for wear on uniform by Army Order 434 of 1922).
Wound stripes issued in WW2 were only 1.5 inches in length.
