Parachutist (non-operational) Silver Bullion ' Light Bulb ' Proficiency Arm Badge
Silver bullion thread on lincoln green felt circular disk, circa 4.5cms in diameter, with a black hessian backing (seom glue to reverse of this). In very good condition with some age to it. Came with a large Gurkha Rifles collection.
Apparently awarded for having completed four parachute jumps but that the individual so awarded had not been called forward for operational duties... read more

7th Duke of Edinburgh's Own Gurkha Rifles Piper's Plaid Brooch
A white metal example with original stout pin backing, die struck with original stout pin fitting and c clasp. In good condition. As worn from 1962 - 30th June 1994. Also found in a a chromed finish and in anodised aluminum.

WW1 Era 9th Gurkha Rifles Officer's Pair of Officer's Epaulettes for the Rank of Captain
A matching pair of epaulettes, hacked from service dress tunic, with quite a bit of hole damage and tearing to the service dress but providing a securing base for the blackened rank pips and the medium pattern black plastic buttons for 9GR and two blackened brass shoulder titles, 9G (9GR F9). Sold as seen, no return on these items.

Black composition ball button, lined with no rim, fixed shank and black reverse. This pattern (with wider spaced kukris) was worn until 1951.

A superior quality example in near mint condition. Some glue to reverse. Superb. Circa 33mm tall and 24mm wide. On a rifle green background. Hawk facing right (which is heraldically incorrect). Worn on cold weather Mess Dress from 1974 and also on No 1, No 2 and No 4 dress from about 1977. Ceased to be worn 1994.
