2nd King Edward VII’s Own Gurkha Rifles (The Sirmoor Rifles) Large Pattern Button

Circa 26mm in diameter, black composition button, fixed shank. It has the design of the King’s cypher ERI beneath an imperial crown with crossed kukris beneath. There is no back mark. In very good condition. Worn by all ranks circa 1972 until June 1994.

Some moth damage to top right edge, and behind the 8 on the badge, and some glue to reverse where removed from a display board. A splendid worn example, been there, done that! As worn from 1930s onwards.
