Scottish Police - Fife Fifeshire Constabulary FC White Metal Collar / Shoulder Title Badge
A monogram of entwined letters F and C linked in open script, die struck with two original loops to the reverse. Worn on either side of the collar with separate numbers to the each side. These were also worn on the shoulder epaulettes surmounted by a separate Tudor crown. Circa 25mm tall. In very good condition. This pattern no longer worn.

A near mint die struck gilding metal example in unissued condition but with a slider presumably for wearing on the pagri band on the tropical / sun helmet. Raised in 1902. Disbanded in 1926. Helmet badges found in a variety of metals: white metal, bronze, gilding metal and blackened.

Early Victorian Mercantile Marine Masters Certificate in its origional Matched Leather Case dated 1857 - Cornishman
An original numbered vellum certificate issued to William Pearce born in Milor in Cornwall in 1814, but dated 1857, issued by the Board of Trade and stating he had 23 years in the Mercantile Marine including achieving the rank of Master.
