Removed from uniform, a black Francolin Partridge in flight facing right on a white oval background, the badge has been stretched over a card stiffener. In good overall condition. Worn by 8th Corps until 1943 and South Western District thereafter. Worn in facing pairs.

A very solidly made example, silver plated star with mounted gilt brass device and a wee jimmy to the centre in silver plate. Pre 1936 pattern with the long scrolls. Some bending to loops but functional. A worn example but still with shap detail and a real cracker.
