"The Dear Dolly" Series of Postally Used Boer War Generals Original Postcards

A series of postally used postcards, all addressed to "Dear Dolly" from Harry, and all sent in 1904 from London to an Eastbourne Address. All a bit grubby and all sepia, postally used and one each for Lt-Col Baden Powell, General Sir Redvers Buller, Sir George White VC and Major General Lord Kitchener. WW1 Silk Embroidered Patriotic Postcard - Birthday Greetings

Postally unused put pencil message to reverse. French maker. Some mild foxing to front but still in its original protective envelope. Used as a birthday greetings card for a Mr W Rodman, and addressed to a Miss Mary Rodman at 44 Sheffield Road, Woodhouse, Sheffield in Yorkshire. In very good condition for age with with the flags of the Allied Nations.
